There is a Stan Worthington picture which I have come to love from the MCG Test of 1937. He gets hit wicket off Chuck Fleetwood-Smith as he collapses on to his stumps, much like Inzamam off Monty in 2006.
Once played in a match where the umpire appealed in unison with raising his finger. It was just after the tea break, which he had spent in the ablutions area with a small silver flask.
