Regarding Rahul’s dismissal - Fox is sprouting how there are 80 cameras at the game, how can they not get the 3rd umpire better vision than used to adjudicate KL out? Frame by frame and slot screen from the off side. I’m an ardent Aussie, but that camera support on snicko was really poor. And surely if the images are inconclusive the benefit should go to the batsman or to the umpire’s decision in the middle.
That was really poor all around. And in a circumstance in which the umpires should’ve role-played or seen before.
There was enough doubt in that to go with the batsman.
A few summers back I bumped into you (PL), Gideon and Alistair Nicholson (I think) - at the Shadow Wine Bar after your rather hard day at work (aka watching cricket).
There are many more wine bars to explore if the need arises - Tom’s comes to mind for the breadth of its excellent wine list and tasty morsels. But if a something a little more substantial food wise is the go - you could do much worse than Le Vivant. Great wines, real food and a one of a kind DJ spinning oldish 45s - northern soul meets the Smiths and more!!
Great times at both. (From a purveyor/punter - not a promoter.)
A great 'anticipation piece', well timed. When the caravan rolls through Adelaide, there's a couple of readers ready, willing and definitely able to buy you a beer.
Guess who just got back today
Them wild-eyed boys that had been away
Haven't changed, had much to say
But man, I still think them cats are crazy
Also - bring on the merch!! Looking very snazzy in the shirts!
Congratulations to you both, and your additional acolytes, on getting this far. But remember:
“We didn’t come this far, just to come this far.”
Keep rolling
I believe this quote can be attributed to Kim Kardashian. She’s also lead the development of glutes all around the world.

That's what I've written. Glad you agree!
Thanks Pete. Looking forward to Cricket et al’s commentary and insights. Best wishes.
Nice branding. You're the George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley of cricket writing.
Love your work. Exceptionally good. How do we (subscribers) get the tee-shirt?
Best wishes for the summer, gentleman. I’ll be admiring from afar in my ivory tower.
Great work gents. Here in Perth and loving the first session’s result!
Loving the ‘content’, thanks gents
Looking forward to following you all over this summer. It’s been great reading/listening so far. Thanks and enjoy Day 1
