We had a left arm orthodox who had a bit of a birth defect resulting in his right arm being noticeably shorted than his left. Someone tried giving him the moniker 'Clock' which I thought was a great. It could be adapted in the field to 'Clocky', 'Clocker'. But it didn't stick. Instead he got the very plain and boring 'TC', which were his initials.
Heard of a chap who worked on a building site once with one arm, the other lads called him octopus...
