Can't wait to check out that playlist while listening to the podcast at work tomorrow. Hopefully The Clean and The Chills make an appearance also. Flying Nun, what a label!

Those bands (amongst others) were somewhat of an influence on a number of 90s bands - Pavement being one of my favourites - and more recently one of my favourite modern groups, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever. Love your work fellas!

I haven’t heard RBCF. Making a note, thanks.

“Counting the Beat” by The Swingers fits the theme. And the chorus echoes Paul Reiffel’s response to criticism of the Pant decision, “La-da-de-da.”

Gents, many thanks for another lovely episode. Great to hear a mention for the wonderful Look Blue, Go Purple and Cactus Cat! Once I heard you mention Flying Nun, Sheen of Gold by The Skeptics and Straightjacket Fits, Down in Splendour popped into my head. Sent me way down a rabbit hole and on their website. Cheers for all your great work!

The naked and famous - Young Blood from passive me aggressive you. One of the great songs though more for a Millennial vintage

I'm 18 mins into the pod, and I have a question for you. Can you name your Top 10 Umpires? You mentioned Dickie Bird off the top your heads, and Shep has to be a close second with his shuffling of his feet for every Nelson multiple. But who are your top Umpires from Test Match Cricket?

And as this is a public forum, I'm keen to hear what others have to say.

Also, I don't mean a "traditional" Top 10, just best your umpires. No need to wedge them into a song title ;)

Good idea. Thanks.
