I thoroughly enjoyed watching the discussion on YouTube last night. As a cricket lover with a hearing loss, podcasts are hard work most of the time for me. If you can get the subtitles spot on, there is a whole 'nother audience waiting for you... 😉
On another aside, my first live test match was also during that 1977/78 India series, in Adelaide. The major drawcard was getting to watch Thommo bowl. He took a couple of early wickets - and pinged a hamstring. No more Jeff Thomson! Cue one very disappointed 8 year old watching from the members.
My "Craig Serjeant" was Gary Cosier. I went to the training session on the day before that test started, and was on the lookout for some autographs. I spotted Gary who didn't have anyone around him - so walked up to him - as did several hundred other kids at the same time and ended up being almost smothered. He was great. He pushed everyone back, said something like, "the little fella was here first", and ensured I was first cab off the rank for his autograph. I'll never forget that!
Top 10 a tough one
XTC “Generals and Majors”
(Sgt. Rock (is Going to Help Me) better forgotten)
But need to mention producer Bob Sargeant
Peel sessions (what a list): Cure, Dexy’s, Gang of Four, Gary Numan, Joy Division, Madness, Specials, Wire
Best known for The Beat albums, also Haircut 100 and …
The Fall (Live at the Witch Trials)!
Spotify “virtual C90” of tunes he produced

Good call!
David Ogilvy? The adman?!!
