Couldn't have disagreed more with your previous article, but also couldn't be more excited to read your next. Can I recommend folding a podcast featuring you and Peter into a premium subscription to the substack? I'm assuming this is something already underway because I'd pay through the nose for it, and I'm a pommy Bazball pervert.
Number two: while that wasn’t me sitting next to you at the 2011 AFL Grand Final, my experience attending five (plus three night) losing Geelong Grand Finals, but missing out on 2007, 2009, and 2011 wins, was finally broken in 2022. How sweet it was to experience that day at the MCG.
Thanks for reminding me about the Vincibles, I have been meaning to re-read your book of that title, which I'm surprised to rediscover was published over 20 years ago. Vincibles was a little gem of a book, and given there are another 22 years of well earned ducks, dropped sitters, comical run-outs and mad fast bowlers since then, surely a sequel can't be far away?

Watch this space, Liam.
I resubscibed due to that article.

You got us there, JF! Thanks on behalf of all Cats fans....
Number one made me snort.
I do relate to Ricky's tendency to get angry at inanimate objects.

I'm surprised it was published 20 years ago, Greg, because not much has changed.
