Apparently the secret to Jimmy’s long career and fitness was yoga. He started up yoga a few years back and that gave his body more flexibility with the stretching helping immensely.
I look forward to a longer piece from you on Jimmy Anderson. I too thought he was finished a few years ago but he has proved many of us wrong; wasn’t he named in a World XI in 2022 aged over 40? Anderson is the greatest swing bowler of all time.
For me any Fall biopic would need two Mark E Smiths. A Young Victorian Urchin Mark E and a Grizzled Pub Veteran Mark E. I'd cast Eamon Farren as the former and Brendon Gleeson as the latter.
Willie Nelson has always been one for recording quickly. Don Was tells the story of nervously producing a song for him for the first time. After Willie completed his single take, he rolled a joint, put a blue dot on it with a sharpie three quarters of the way down, lit it up and said - by the time I reach this dot you'll have completed the mix. No pressure.

The most interesting thing I remember about the IPL is the blog by 'Fake IPL PLayer' in 2009.
It was so funny to see the BCCI, who at that time had just built up their air of invincibility, be ineffective in stopping it.

Excellent casting, Nick!
