The production value & presentation of Gideon's books is outstanding. I am reading "Girl in Cabin 350" at the moment. What struck me on receiving it was how beautiful it looked and felt. It's a hardback with a striking dustcover. Classical layout for readability (my ageing eyes) and full of B&W photos and diagram reproductions. As CJ says Gideon's writing reflects on social history and the complexity of human nature - as much as the crime whodunit. Books that class up your bookshelf as much as your mind.
